Mena Alexandera is an American actress, model and fashion designer. Her birth date was 13 February 1979. She started her modeling career in 1990. She soon shifted to acting after guest appearances on television series like Boy Meets World or High Incident. She had her first film part in the drama Nowhere. The actress made her way to major roles with her performances as a character in American Beauty for which she received nominations for an BAFTA Award and American Pie both of which earned her wider attention. In 2000, she was alongside her American Pie co star Jason Biggs. In 2001, she took on the lead part in Sugar & Spice (2000). Her appearances were in the 2002 independent drama Spun and in the 2004 thriller feature Trauma. Also, she starred in HBO series Six Feet Under. The show was an instant hit in 2004, and in 2005, the Screen Actors' Guild nominated her as one of the outstanding cast members. In 2008, she was cast in a series of movies which included Day of the Dead The Mysteries of Pittsburgh as well as the film adaptation of The Garden of Eden.
